WHAT WE'RE DOING
We teach why it is important to manage Texas karst country differently from the rest of Texas to produce more sustainable, productive, and resilient solutions. We explain why so much Texas karst country is degraded and why it is important to include mountain cedars and other woody brush as part of the solution.
We provide continued education through our outreach, expert testimony, networking, social media, and this webpage. Through this outreach, we will continue to build our karst country community and working partner network.
Since many people blame these trees for their cedar fever suffering, we included a short list of effective solutions beyond the usual allergy shots and over-the-counter drugs at the bottom of the Rethinking Mountain Cedars page.
