Ronald Childers
Ronald advances and shares his fieldcraft and knowledge of the Hill Country ecology through the Hill Country Texas Master Naturalist chapter and the Kerrville and Boerne Native Plant Society of Texas chapters. As a participant in the HCTMN’s Land Management Assistant Program, he assists large-scale land owners across several Edwards Plateau counties with land management issues and solutions, conducts plant surveys and explains good stewardship practices. Ronald also educates small property landowners about the importance of native plants and habitat through the NPSOT Pollinator Garden Assistance and Recognition Program. Ronald lives with his wife in Bandera County, practicing what he teaches. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
